Get your mind back! In a world full of trash and trivia, it’s important to focus on what you want to read, and eliminate the junk free services bombard you with. If you pay for your content, you protect your privacy and prevent your data from being harvested and sold to advertisers, foreign governments and whoever else wants a piece of you, your wallet or your ideology.

Many journalists, writers, bloggers and thinkers make their money from their newsletters. I don’t. For me, this is not a money-making endeavor. All proceeds will be donated to causes and the non-profits I support, which include the Sundance Institute, McSweeneys, City Arts & Lectures, and the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women.
